Anxiety disorders occur in children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) at higher rates than in children Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is classified as a somatoform disorder that combines body image disturbances with obsessive compulsive spectrum and somatic delusional disorders. This paper explores these dimensional features of each component of BDD among individuals across the spectrum of intellectual disabilities.
